No explanations have been revealed as to reasons for price hike which could be put down to higher input costs and fluctuating exchange rates. Prices of Triumph’s Bonneville, Boneville T100 and Thruxton Café Racer models will be increased by INR 20,000 while Thunderbird Storm, LT and Rocket III will see price hikes of over INR 1 lakh. No price hikes will be seen on the recently launched Tiger 800 XCx and XRx as these two bikes already came in with increased prices

Marking their entry into India in 2013, the company has seen immediate response. Triumph’s plant at Manesar in Haryana from where the company conducts its assembly operations is working to capacity. The company saw sales of 1300 units at the end of 2014 and has set a target of 2500 units in 2015. Dealership expansion is also on the cards.
