The motorcycle which is based on the BMW G 310 R is expected to go on sale in January 2018. TVS Apache RR 310 S is powered by the same 313 cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine which is also seen on the BMW G310R. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Both the engine and gearbox are expected to be tweaked to offer a unique character. In its existing state of tune, the BMW motor produces 34 bhp and 28 Nm of torque.

One of the main rivals of TVS Apache 310 will be Below is a video taken by YouTube channel MotoStories. He has now shared the same with us, and you can see the same for yourself in the video below.

The video clearly shows that the Dominar 400 rider is trying all he can to chase the TVS Apache 310, but fails to catch up. In spite of gunning the Dominar at full speed of 159 kmph, the Dominar rider says that the Apache 310 was still pulling away into the distance.

Compared to the Apache, the Dominar 400 is a more powerful bike. It’s 373 cc engine delivers 35 PS power and 35 Nm torque. But it seems that the TVS Apache RR310S has a higher top speed and a better acceleration. Below is a video of MotoStories chatting with the TVS Apache 310 test riders.

TVS Apache RR 310 S features Twin headlamps, tall windshield, muscular fuel tank, split seats, LED taillights and a stubby silencer would be the styling highlights. The motorcycle is expected to retain the USD front fork and rear monoshock. We can expect the motorcycle to offer optional dual-channel ABS and Pirelli tyres like the Apache RTR 200.

The TVS Apache RR 310 S will be pitted against the likes of KTM RC 390, Honda CBR 250R, Mahindra Mojo, Dominar 400 etc. More details will be revealed once the bike is launched in the coming weeks.
