TVS Apache 200 patent sketch leaks online

A patent sketch of the soon-to-be-launched TVS Apache 200 has been leaked by Motorbeam. The motorcycle which has been spied numerous times in the last few weeks is set to become the most powerful and fastest production model ever developed by the two wheeler maker.

While not clearly visible on the test mules, the Apache 200 comes with minimal headlamp fairing complete with a transparent visor. The edgy headlamp cluster houses neat LED pilot lamps/daytime running lights. Other final details include air vents on the fuel tank extensions and tailpiece, golden finish for the fork arms, a body colored belly pan, split seats, petal discs and black color theme for cycle parts.

Earlier spyshots revealed a flat handlebar, a fully digital instrument panel and LED taillights. The styling is inspired from the Draken X21 concept which debuted at the Auto Expo back in February 2014.

The TVS Apache 200’s air-cum-oil-cooled engine is expected to employ a traditional carburetor rather than electronic fuel injection to dish out around 26 PS and 22 Nm of torque. Transmission is a 5-speed unit. The motorcycle benchmarked against the KTM Duke 200 and is expected to offer better performance.
