TVS Motors launched their new naked sportsbike Apache RTR 200 4V earlier last year. After almost a year of launch, TVS has finally launched the first TVC of Apache 200, which is titled – Engineered by the stopwatch.
Winner of 2017 Indian Motorcycle of The Year – TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.75 cc 4 stroke, oil cooled engine capable of 21 PS peak power at 8,500 rpm and 18 Nm peak torque at 7,000 rpm mated to a 5 speed transmission. Measuring 2,050mm in length, 790 mm in width and 1,105mm in height, the new Apache has ground clearance of 180mm. Watch the new TVC below.
The new TVS Apache comes with 5 split spoke wheels and 270mm and 240mm petal disc brakes in the front and rear respectively. It gets a headlamp cluster with C shaped LED DRLs while other features include a digital console, digital clock and speedometer situated in the central display along with a fuel tank indicator. The odometer also sees the inclusion of a trip meter and indicators for turn lights.
At the time of launch, TVS had stated that the bike will be offered in multiple trims – Carb and Non ABS, Carb and ABS, FI and non ABS, FI and ABS, while all these trims will get optional of Pirelli tyres. But the company only offers Carb and Carb + Pirelli options, despite of the fact that the FI, ABS variants being listed on the official site.

It gets a 12 liter capacity fuel tank and is being presented in seven color options of Black, White, Matte Black, Matte White, Matte Gray, Matte Red and Matte Yellow. It will target the likes of Bajaj Pulsar AS 200, upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS FI and KTM Duke 200 while the company targets sales of around 7,000 units per month.
