Features

TVS Apache 310 is noted with an aerodynamic front fairing. It gets a wide windscreen and split headlamps adding to its sporty appeal. It gets comfortable seating for both rider and pillion and alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Street Sport tyres measuring 110/70 in the front and 150/60 at the rear. Presented in color options of Racing Red and Sinister Black, gets braking via 300mm front and 240mm rear pearl disc brakes along with dual channel Anti Lock Braking System and Electronic Fuel Injection.

The Dominar 400 on the other hand borrows inspiration from the Ducati Daivel power cruiser. It gets all LED head and tail lamps and a reverse LCD instrument cluster with displays of speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and rpm meter. The Dominar 400 sits on 17” alloy wheels fitted with MRF Revz radial tyres measuring 110mm front and 150mm rear. Braking is via 320mm disc in the front and 230mm disc at the rear with BYBRE calipers and the bike also receives an optional dual channel ABS system.

Mahindra Mojo comes in with distinct styling. It gets a unique front twin cluster headlamp, arrow shaped LED tail lamps, wind protection and front forks and swing arm painted golden to give the bike a more premium appeal. Twin exhausts, wind deflector around radiator, a muscular fuel tank and comfortable seating with superior pillion riding experience are also seen on the Mojo. The Mahindra Mojo sits on Pirelli tyres with wheels measuring 110/ZR17 in the front and 150/60 ZR17 at the rear.

Engine

TVS Apache 310 is powered by a 312.2cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine offering 34 PS power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm torque at 7,700 rpm mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 7.17 seconds and top speed stands at 160 kmph.

The Bajaj Dominar engine is a 373 cc liquid cooled, fuel injected engine offering 34.50 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm mated to a manual gearbox. The Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 295cc liquid cooled, fuel injected engine with Bosch ECU. This engine is capable of 26.82 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Top speed stands at 148 kmph.

Weight and Dimensions

The TVS Apache 310 measures 2,001mm in length, 786mm in width and 1,135mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase measuring 1,365mm and gets ground clearance of 180mm and kerb weight of 170 kgs.

Bajaj Dominar 400 stands 2,156mm in length, 813mm in width and 1,112mm in height. It sits on a 1,453mm long wheelbase and gets ground clearance of 157mm and kerb weight of 182 kgs.

Mahindra Mojo has overall length of 2,100mm, width of 800mm and height of 1,165mm. It commands ground clearance of 173mm and seat height of 814.5mm with a wheelbase of 1,465mm. Kerb weight stands at 182 kgs.

Color Options

TVS Apache is presented in two color options of Racing Red and Sinister Black. The Bajaj Dominar colors Moon White, Midnight Blue, Twilight Plum and Matte Black and Mahindra Mojo gets Sunburst Yellow, Volcano Red, Charcoal Black and Glacier White.

Price

Officially launched in India, the TVS Apache 310 commands a strong presence in the super premium, sports motorcycle segment. It is affordably priced and comes in with notable features and an attractive design. It carries a price tag of INR 2.05 lakhs and though priced higher than the Dominar 400 (INR 1.42-1.56 lakhs) and the Mahindra Mojo (INR 1.73 lakhs), it does command a stronger road presence in terms of style, stance and performance.
