According to Iwanbanaran, the official confirmed that the 200 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine will adopt a SOHC 4-valve head. He also revealed that the cooling system for the motorcycle has been developed with support from BMW Motorrad. We expect the motor to have power output of in the region of 25-30 PS.
As the earlier spyshots indicated, most of the design cues come from the Draken concept which was unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo. Mr. Siddharth also confirmed that the new Apache will receive a fully digital instrument console, LED blinkers and taillights, and tubeless tyres.
Going by the test prototypes, the Apache RTR 200 is suspended by regular front telescopic forks and a rear monoshock. Both wheels employ a disc brake each and ABS should be offered at a later stage if not from day one.
