TVS Motor Company has reported strong sales performance for March 2026, with total sales (2W + 3W) reaching 5,19,358 units. This marks a 25.24% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 4,14,687 units sold in March 2025. Domestic sales stood at 3,78,365 units, up 25.61% YoY, while exports grew 24.66% to 1,41,443 units.

Two-wheeler sales accounted for the majority, at 4,98,134 units, registering a 24.50% YoY growth. Three-wheeler sales also saw strong momentum, rising 45.70% YoY to 21,224 units. Motorcycles recorded sales of 2,32,788 units, up 18.33% YoY. Scooters emerged as a strong growth driver, increasing 30.86% to 2,17,624 units.

Electric scooters posted the highest growth among all segments, rising 44.34% YoY to 38,877 units, reflecting growing EV adoption. Mopeds also saw a healthy increase of 28.67%, with sales at 47,722 units.

On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, TVS Motor saw a marginal decline. Total sales fell 1.88% from 5,29,308 units in February 2026. Two-wheeler sales declined by 1.92%, largely due to a drop in exports, which fell 11.69%. Motorcycle and scooter sales also saw minor dips of 3.52% and 1.03% respectively. However, domestic two-wheeler sales still grew 2.01% MoM, while EV sales continued to rise by 1.28%.

Q1 2026 Performance – Best Ever Quarterly Sales

TVS Motor reported a strong performance in Q1 2026 (Jan–Mar), with total sales rising 28.29% to 15.60 lakh units, compared to 12.16 lakh units in Q1 2025. Two-wheeler sales stood at 15.00 lakh units, up 27.23% from 11.79 lakh units, while three-wheeler sales saw even stronger growth at 62.16%, reaching 0.60 lakh units from 0.37 lakh units.

Domestic sales increased 29.91% to 11.38 lakh units, while exports grew 24.12% to 4.22 lakh units during the quarter. This strong Q1 performance aligns with TVS Motor’s record Q4 and FY26 results, driven by healthy demand across segments, rising exports and continued momentum in electric mobility.

FY 2025-26 – Record Performance

TVS Motor closed FY 2025-26 with its highest-ever annual sales of 5.89 million units, registering a 24% growth over 4.74 million units in FY 2024-25. Two-wheeler sales grew 23% to 5.67 million units, while three-wheeler sales surged 63% to 2.19 lakh units. Exports increased 33% to 15.85 lakh units during the year. The company also recorded its highest-ever quarterly sales in Q4 FY26 at 1.56 million units, with strong growth across both two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

TVS Motor’s growth was driven by strong demand across motorcycles and scooters, along with rising traction in electric mobility. The EV portfolio continues to gain momentum, supported by increasing adoption and product expansion. With consistent domestic demand and healthy export growth, TVS Motor has ended FY26 on a strong note, backed by record annual and quarterly sales.
