TVS Motor Company has released a new teaser video today, with their brand ambassadors Amitabh Bachchan and MS Dhoni
Corona virus cases are increasing exponentially. But at the same time, it is no longer a situation like March / April, when the entire country was in a lockdown. Despite threat of corona virus, economy and businesses are slowly moving back to normal, or atleast it looks like that. Auto industry too has registered an increase in sales.
Car and bike sales are on the rise, especially in rural India. Manufacturers are getting used to the new normal, and resuming operations – from starting production at plant with social distancing to selling their products online (without any need of human contact). Work on pending / upcoming projects has also started. Testing of upcoming cars and bikes has also resumed.
Launches have gotten delayed, plans will probably miss timeline. But the important thing is that the industry is trying very hard to get back to normal. Just like others, TVS Motor Company is also bouncing back. Earlier today, they shared an interesting teaser video, which can be seen below.
India’s First… Coming Soon
*Please note that the teaser video above was most likely shot many weeks / months ago. Mr Bachchan is currently in the hospital as he has tested positive for Covid-19.
The video features TVS Motor Company’s brand ambassadors Amitabh Bachchan and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Mr Bachchan has been brand ambassador for TVS Jupiter and has starred in multiple TVCs and print ads of the TVS Scooter. On the other hand, MS Dhoni has been seen promoting the Start City motorcycle. He was also seen at the launch of Apache 310.
So the two stars coming together, for the first time in a TVS Motor commercial – does make wonder, what is brewing? Not much is revealed in the video. Except for the fact that something is coming soon from TVS Motor Company, and it is going to be India’s First. But what it could be? Could it be a new two wheeler?
What is it?
Are they talking about the iQube electric scooter which was launched a few weeks before the lockdown. Or is it a brand new motorcycle – Apache 310 naked? Or is TVS going to launch something completely new – a cruiser? We all know that TVS had showcased Zeppelin cruiser back at the 2018 Auto Expo. Zeppelin cruiser had multiple new technologies on board, and probably fits the India’s First teaser video above.
Or is it something under the Norton brand? TVS had recently acquired British motorcycle brand Norton – are they planning to launch a Norton anytime soon? Other pending launches from TVS Motor includes BS6 variants of Scooty Zest motorcycle and Victor motorcycle. Is it going to be a new moped?
It is also possible that it is not a motorcycle or a scooter. The teaser video shared by TVS on Youtube is with the title – “Stay tuned for a first-time experience.” Whatever it is, we will soon get to know.
