TVS Motor Company today launched a special TVS Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs edition. The bike commemorates Anam Hashim’s TVS Scooty Zest 110 ride to Khardung La. The epic ride is now listed in India Book of Records as the first 110 cc Scooter to reach Khardung La in the Himalayas.
TVS Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs special edition is available in an exclusive Himalayan High Brown colour with beige pigmented panels. Features include a tapeset, body colour mirrors, and body colour cover switch panels. The special edition scooter wears a special emblem that honours the highest motorable road ride at 18,380 feet.
Aniruddha Haldar, VP Marketing, TVS Motor Company says Scooty is an iconic mobility brand in India. It makes perfect sense that the first 110 cc scooter to reach the highest motorable road is a Scooty Zest 110. The rider, Anam Hashim is a 21 year old Scooty Zest owner. The brand continues to enhance the new age Indian woman’s riding experience.
Anam began her Scooty Zest 110 ride in Jammu and rode across Srinagar, Kargil, Zoji La, Leh to Khardung La over a period of 20 days last year.
Anam says riding is her passion. She has always enjoyed trying new challenges, and was thrilled to ride TVS Scooty Zest 110 to Khardung La. The engine did not run out of breath even at 10,000 feet and ride quality was top-notch despite long riding hours. Despite dangerous turns, awful weather and vertigo-inducing heights, TVS Scooty Zest 110 cc was a reliable and dependable ride. Setting the record is truly an epic feeling.
TVS Scooty Zest 110 is available at a price of Rs. 46,113 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
