TVS has begun a doorstep service option carried out by expert technicians at your doorstep, with the commitment of genuine pricing and spare parts. It goes without saying, protocols are designed around safe and hygienic practices while servicing a TVS vehicle, Temperature check of technicians, Protective gear for technicians, Contact-less service, and Online Payment.
Customers can use a washing coupon for a bike wash when visiting the workshop as this is an activity difficult to carry out in public area. The convenient service solution sees bike technicians resorting to a mobile workshop on their bikes. Fitted with panniers, and storage boxes, tools are carried for service on location. This also includes oil change.
TVS Motor’s ‘Expert on Wheels’ programme oversees periodic maintenance service for customers at their doorstep. The programme is available at over 300 dealerships nationwide, and lets customers avail servicing as per their convenience. All TVS two wheelers from the Apache motorcycle range to XL Super moped to Jupiter scooter and Star City commuter bike – will be serviced under this.
Dealerships are guided by current safety protocols pertaining to sanitisation, and PPE suits for staff on call. Thermal scanning ensures regular temperature checks, and digital payments reduce risks attributed to physical contact.
Expert on wheels doorstep service is designed for bike and scooter maintenance. This new service can be booked through a phone call, and a time slot fixed as per customer convenience. Apart from being able to maintain physical distancing, the service comes with the guarantee of genuine spare parts, and pricing. A service flier for TVS dealer in Ahmednagar says service at your doorstep could be booked in Rs 399.
With lockdown having had unprecedented outcomes, customer service, and Road Side Assistance (RSA) access helps address customer concerns. To ensure systemic maintenance access for all, free service, warranty, and AMC package deadlines were extended to ensure no-one misses out cause of lockdown.
Warranty and service extensions were first extended to June end, and then extended to July 31, 2020. This meant, free service of vehicles due between March and April 2020, and those with warranty expiration between March 1 and April 30, 2020, were redeemable till till July 31, 2020.
With August 2020 here, TVS Motor has revised the price list for its BS6 range. For a number of bikes, this is a second price hike in quick succession. TVS Radeon is available at a price of Rs 59,942, and the range topping disc variant costs Rs 65,942 now. TVS Apache and Ntorq price range is revised at just over a grand each. Ntorq Race Edition in yellow and black colour scheme has been launched. TVS Zest BS6 was launched in end of July, and price remains unchanged. The Jupiter BS6 scooter price too was revised last month, and is currently untouched.
