With Mahindra Dhoni as the brand ambassador of their 110 cc stylish commuter segment motorcycle, TVS Star City+ has successfully completed a year in India. To celebrated the motorcycle’s first anniversary, TVS has now announced a new special gold edition.
Called TVS Star City+ Special Gold Edition 2015, this new variant features only cosmetic changes. The changes include a white body colour with vibrant golden graphics,unique gold coloured mag wheels, gold coloured three dimensional brand logo, ‘Bike of the Year’ endorsement accompanying a gold coloured TVS logo on the visor, contrasting beige coloured side cover frame and a dual textured seat with red stitching, which is offset by black coloured shock absorbers.
Dhoni with regular TVS Star City plusApart from the cosmetic updates, the new special edition TVS Star City+ also gets tubeless tyres and USB charger, which is placed under the seat. “We are confident that this Special Gold Edition TVS StaR City+ will also be a huge success with our customers.” said K N Radhakrishnan, President and CEO, TVS Motor Company.
Power to the new TVS Star City+ Special Gold Edition comes from a single cylinder air cooled 110 cc engine which delivers 8.4 PS @ 7000 rpm and 8.7 Nm @ 5000 rpm. Mated to a four speed manual transmission, the new TVS Star City+ delivers a best in class mileage of 86 kmpl.
Price of the new starts from TVS Star City+ Special Gold Edition starts from INR 48,934, ex-showroom, Delhi. This is about INR 2,000 more than the standard TVS Start City+ with electric start.
