UBER India partners with OXXY, driver healthcare benefits announced

UBER brings quality healthcare to all its driver partners and riders in 18 cities where it operates in India. A free health check at a hospital at subsidized rates will be offered along with OXXY partners so as to bring in maximum healthcare benefits to the society.

UBER has big plans for India. Here, the US headquarted company will invest $50 million to setup a new facility in Hyderabad.

The UBER driver healthcare benefits will consist of blood tests and a series of other tests that include sugar test, cholesterol, thyroid, eye, dental and BMI to name a few. The first checkup is free while the balance checks will be offered at highly subsidized rates. UBER and OXXY will also be offering free rides to and from hospitals, diagnostic and Path labs.

OXXY is present in India with over 100,000 centers, hospitals and diagnostic and path labs in 1,500 cities while UBER sees its largest geographical market in the country after the US. The scheme commenced on 15th July 2015 and UBER users will be able to access these services which is available 24×7 through Toll Free No. 09999-000-102 or by logging on to www.oxxy.in. A special promo code on UBER APP is also available.

Uber has re-started accepting payments via credit card in India.
