There has been increased competition in the mid size SUV segment with the launch of new cars like Kia Seltos, MG Hector and Tata Harrier. This has resulted in Mahindra losing market share in the segment. In order to gain lost ground, Mahindra will launch new generation Thar, Scorpio and XUV500 in 2020.
