Varun Dhawan gifted new Mahindra KUV100 – Kool Utility Vehicle

Mahindra KUV100 is a compact SUV targeted at young generation of first time car buyers, who do not want to settle for a hatchback or a compact sedan. These kind of buyers want to live life on their own terms and do not want a conventional set of four wheels in the name of a car.

In order to resonate the message across their audience, Mahindra KUV100 is being promoted by none other than 28-year-old Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan. Known for his high energy levels and youthfulness, Varun Dhawan is part of KUV100’s print / online campaign, as well as a TVC which is directed by Zoya Akhtar (known for hit movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’). Recently, Mahindra congratulated Varun Dhawan for promoting the KUV100 by gifting him a brand new KUV100.

It is be offered with a range of new 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol and diesel engines generating 82 hp / 115 Nm and 77 hp 190 Nm respectively. Featuring more of a crossover stance than an SUV, interiors of Mahindra KUV100 feature a state of the art infotainment system with a small display, a centre console with integrated rectangular AC vents and piano back accent besides silver and piano black accents on door panels. Interiors are also seen in a 3+3 layout with ample space, especially for passengers in the front seat. The gear lever is fitted on the dashboard, similar to that seen on Datsun Go.

On the outside, Mahindra KUV100 sports styling which includes plastic wheel arches, blackened lower portion of bumpers, alloy wheels, roof rails, LED DRL in the headlight cluster, rear wiper and washer while rear door handles are inspired from those seen on the Chevrolet Beat. Mahindra KUV100 is priced in the range of INR 4.67 lakh to INR 7.21 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi.
