VDA QMC appoints TÜV SÜD South Asia for audit training

VDA QMC, the German Association of Automotive Industry – Quality-Management-Center has tied up with TÜV SÜD South Asia- Academy Division to deliver approved VDA 6.3 training and qualification modules to their clients in India. Through this program automotive auditors will receive training on some of the basic doctrines and auditing process for the auto sector. Examinations will be held at the end of these training sessions.

Through this training auto auditors will be given training in the various processes of auto auditing and can be used both for internal as well as external audit systems. German Automotive OEMs have found this system of audit to be highly effective. It was earlier revised in 2010 to absorb changes to ISO 9001:2008 standards and be effective for individual customer’s requirements.

VDA QMC provides all the training and all material used for exams. There are over 2000 VDA 6.3 auditors who have passed these examinations through VDA QMC. TÜV SÜD South Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of the TÜV SÜD Group which has been operational in India ever since 2008. Training is offered ranging from one day programs to programs and training of longer duration not only to the auto sector but also to the engineering, textile, food, obstruction and natural resources sectors.

TÜV SÜD South Asia to launch VDA 6.3 Process audit training & qualification modules in India

VDA QMC (German Association of the Automotive Industry – Quality-Management-Center) has appointed TÜV SÜD South Asia- Academy Division as its partner to deliver approved VDA 6.3 training and qualification modules in India.

TÜV SÜD South Asia- Academy Division would shortly deliver VDA 6.3 process auditor training courses with qualification programs wherein automotive auditors would be trained on basic principles, process auditing in the automotive industry which would end with the qualification examinations.

Developed by the German Automotive industry, VDA 6.3 defines a process based audit standard for evaluating, analyzing and enhancing controls in a manufacturing organization’s processes. The VDA 6.3 process audit is an assessment method to conduct process checks within a quality management system and assess capability and performance. The standard can be used by any organization, for either internal process audits or for evaluating potential or existing suppliers. The German Automotive OEMs have found this to be an excellent monitoring tool for their own and their supplier process monitoring. Revised in 2010, the standard was comprehensively restructured to reflect the changes to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and essential customer specific requirements of the automotive industry.

The training material for all VDA 6.3 trainings and exams will be provide from the VDA QMC (Licensor) and also all trainers and examiners of the TÜV SÜD South Asia Academy Division will be qualified from the VDA QMC.

Today, more than 2.000 VDA 6.3 auditors are certificated from the VDA QMC in this worldwide network.
