Vespa 946 Emporio Armani and Vespa’s 70th Anniversary Edition have been launched simultaneously in India. The former celebrates the 40th anniversary of Giorgio Armani foundation and 130th birth anniversary of Piaggio Group, while the latter celebrates Vespa’s 70th anniversary.
Both scooters will be exclusive to the Italian bikemaker. Price of Vespa 70th Anniversary Limited Edition starts from INR 96,500 while that of the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is INR 12.04 lakh (Yes, twelve!), making it the most expensive scoter in India. All prices are ex-showroom, Pune.
Vespa 70th Anniversary Edition is offered in Azzurro 70 and Grigio 70 color schemes with the former being a unique light silver blue and the latter a light silver grey. Pewter grey wheels, matching leather seating and chrome luggage rack at the rear along with a dark grey leather bag will form its onboard features.
In addition to this exciting new colour choice, you can also opt for some exclusive leather accessories as shown in the images. Based on the Vespa VXL, powering the Vespa 70th Anniversary Edition is the same 150 cc air cooled single cylinder 3 valve engine which generates peak power of 11.6 bhp and max torque of 11.5 Nm. Transmission is via a CVT unit.
