At the 2014 Auto Expo, more than 30 manufacturers showcased a range of vehicle, concepts, new launches and model year hatchbacks, sedans, and SUV’s. India Expo Mart in Greater Noida is teeming with activity wherever the eye turns.

With more than 30 manufacturers showcasing a strong product portfolio for 2014, its time to set a promising tone for the year. Public figures like Mr. Ratan Tata, Mr. Sachin Tendulkar, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Sameera Reddy, Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Karun Chandhok, Geoff May, Aaron Yates, Ravi Shashtri, Raghav Sachar, Shenaz Treasurywala, Narain Karthikeyan, Ian Cullam, Lucas Ordonez were present across chosen manufacturer stalls. New investments, launches, concepts were unveiled by global CEOs.

The theme Pavilion on Electric and Hybrid Mobility at Auto Expo 2014 was also be inaugurated on February 6. Exhibits at this Theme Pavilion include Maruti Suzuki Swift RE, Toyota Kirloskar Camry Hybrid, Tata Motor’s Iris and Magic, TVS Motors E-Scooter and E-3Ws, Hero Eco E-Scooter, Mahindra & Mahindra E2O and Maxximo.

This apart there’s the awesome Vintage Car pavilion at this year’s Delhi Auto Expo. SIAM has also announced the launch of its awareness campaign “Be Genuine, Buy Genuine”, which is a concerted fight against spare parts counterfeit market, unauthorized manufacturers and sellers through an association with auto manufacturers. SIAM’s Anti Counterfeiting Group (ACG) has teamed up with all major auto players in the India, and through 2 stalls at Auto Expo is engaging with visitors in its quest to spread awareness about conterfeit products infiltrating the auto industry.
