The Volkswagen Jetta launched this week marked its entry price point at Rs. 14.12 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi). With bookings underway, the new sixth gen Volkswagen Jetta adds to the company’s product portfolio offering the latest and very best to customers in the Indian auto market.
Launched initially in 2008 in the Indian car market, and has sold 8000 units and enjoys 8 percent market share in its segment. It can be termed the safest car and comes with the security of 8 airbags. The seats have been redesigned and you’re looking at a car that’s 90 mm longer.
The new Volkswagen Jetta is 27% more powerful and comes fitted with ‘Navarra’ alloy wheels 205/55 R 16 tires. You can now visit your near VW showroom for a test drive. It’s true that growth is dampening but the company hopes to see growth in this segment and has concentrated on localization to ensure price feasibility.
