Volkswagen India has announced new prices for their Polo and Vento variants which have come into effect since 28th January 2013. The price hike was announced on Monday and prices of these two models have been hiked by 2.27 percent. Post price hike, VW Polo will now be priced between Rs. 4.92 lakhs and Rs. 7.08 lakhs while VW Vento will be priced from Rs.7.32 lakhs to Rs.9.96 lakhs.
The company has stated that though these prices have been increased marginally, both Polo and Vento will also be seen with additional features which have been added for further customer’s comforts and entertainment. Post price hikes, Polo and Vento will be seen with an advanced 2 DIN RCD 320 music system with Bluetooth, USB, Aux In and SD card reader and Climatronic air conditioners.
Due to the increased prices, the company is also offering customers good value, with additional features and state of the art infotainment. Both Polo and Vento have been seeing enhanced sales for the brand all through the past year where in Volkswagen sold 62,507 units.
Mr Arvind Saxena, Managing Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars had this to say, “Our aim has always been to give our customers a good value proposition and once again we are glad to be able to offer a good reason for them to buy these carlines.”
