Volkswagen Polo Facelift images and tech-specs officially revealed

Exterior changes made to the new Polo facelift are in the form of redesigned bumpers, LED headlights (optional), new chrome line separating the fog lights. At the rear, you will see that VW designers have added more space to the number plate area. As far as wheels are concerned, the new Polo gets stylish alloys. Overall exterior look of the Polo facelift does not look very different as compared to the existing variant, but it does look a bit more aggressive.

Volkswagen Polo Facelift images (1)On the inside of new VW Polo hathback, you will find a redesigned instrument cluster, all-new steering wheel and a new dashboard with color screen display and controls to the infotainment and air-conditioning. This part of Polo, does remind of the Golf Mk7.

The biggest changes seen on the new Polo, are under it’s hood. VW has powered Polo facelift with their EU6 compliant engines. These new engines are more efficient (21%). New engines added include 3 cylinder 1.4l diesel in tunes of 75 PS and 90 PS. These will replace the existing diesel mills of 1.2l and 1.6l. The 1.2l TSI engines of the tune 90 PS and 104 PS are retained, along with the 1.4l unit featuring cylinder deactivation. The latter, which delivered 140 PS in the previous model, will deliver 10PS more in the Polo facelift.
