Volvo Cars once again teams up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish football icon, to draw attention to the new Volvo V90 premium estate. Volvo and Zlatan have worked together in the past (2014 for XC70). The two now come together for the new Volvo V90 campaign.
This new campaign showcases the striking similarities between the journeys of both Volvo and Zlatan. It draws attention to their successes and their abilities to think differently to achieve outstanding success.
Volvo V90 campaign called ‘Prologue’ showcases Zlantan through his journey of success. It depicts this longtime Volvo aficionado on his passage from humble beginnings in Sweden’s toughest neighborhoods in Malmo to becoming an international sporting icon.
Volvo V90 is powered by a range of two 2.0 liter four cylinder engines. The D4 engine is capable of 187 bhp power and 400 Nm torque allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. This engine is mated to an 8 speed automatic gearbox. The Volvo V90 is also presented with a D5 engine offering 232 bhp power and 480 Nm torque mated to a four wheel drive system.
