Top Gear test track is now available on Google Maps Street View. Top Gear has released a video showing just how the Google Maps team was welcomed into its circuit.

Though restricted to just the Top Gear test team, racing aficionados can now take advantage of this new facility offered on board the new Mercedes Benz SLS AMG and take their own trip around the famous track without setting foot on it, thanks to StreetView (see below).

Stig from Top Gear team has taken part in Google mapping of Dunsfold, Surrey air field strip while at the wheel of the Mercedes Benz SLAS AMG Black. The new series will be aired on February 2, 2014 and will showcase the three Top Gear presenters take a journey through northern part of eastern Europe on their way to Sochi, Russia for the impending Winter Olympics.

Top Gear track will now be made available on Google’s service for fans to virtually drive. To find the track users need to simply type ‘Top Gear Test Track’ into Google Maps, drag the orange Pegman onto the track, following which they will be able to watch The Stig putting a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG through paces on a 2.82km stretch of tarmac.
