Delhi NCR region is implementing Stage-III actions of the revised GRAP for "Severe" air quality.

Measures taken to combat severe air pollution in Delhi NCR -

A sub-committee has reviewed air quality, meteorological conditions, and AQI in Delhi.

All Stage-III actions are invoked with immediate effect.

Restrictions on BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel LMVs in Delhi are imposed.

Restrictions exclude Emergency Services, Police, and Government vehicles used for Enforcement.

Violators will face prosecution under Section 194(1) of the Motor Vehicle Act.

The fine for violations is set at Rs. 20,000.
