The new FZ-S Concept could receive some technical upgrades while overall continuing with most other visible aspects from the regular model. Its engine will be the same 153cc unit seen on its current FZ model which receives a single cylinder producing around 13 bhp and 13.6 Nm torque.
Once launched, the new FZ-S Concept could compete with TVS Apache 180 while it could be priced competitively. The bike on test was spotted with the same tail light design at the rear while changes in the front include an air inlet positioned below the fuel tank. The upcoming FZ-S Concept could also receive dual tone colours to add to its refreshed stance.
Other changes on board the FZ-S Concept also includes a new visor, new fuel tank cowl with chrome mesh inserts and body coloured foot pegs. Yamaha has not confirmed launch date of the new FZ series but well timed, possibly by August, ahead of the festive season is rumoured.
