Yamaha India National Technician Grand Prix (NTGP) 2012 winners

Winners for the third edition of the NTGP 2012 have been announced by India Yamaha Motors which is the world’s second largest two wheeler manufacturer. There were 350 entries received for this edition of the contest out of which 25 individuals were selected to compete in the finals for the best technician prize.

Through this contest, Yamaha hopes to influence technicians to improve customer satisfaction by providing superior services and maintaining cordial rapport with them. In the contest candidates were judged on the basis of proper service knowledge, trouble shooting capabilities, communication skills and efficiency with regard to repairing actual bikes.

Mr. Prabin Kumar.L, Mr.Sagar Gaikwad, and Mr.Sameer Shafi Naik won the first second and third prizes respectively. The contest was held at the Surajpur plant in Greater Noida and was conducted from 6th to thee 8th of December 2012. The winner of this contest will have the chance to represent India Yamaha Motor in the World Technician Grand Prix 2014 which will be held in Japan.
