Yamaha India hosts Zippy Birthday Carnivals at dealerships

Zippy was introduced in 2014 for the first-of-a-kind Yamaha Children Safety Program (YCSP) in India. Yamaha will also organise its YCSP and Safety Riding Program for women to improve road safety awareness among children and women residents of NGOs Nirmal Chaya, Delhi and SOS Children’s Village, Chennai.

Yamaha Zippy Birthday Carnivals will entail activities for those visiting dealerships. Yamaha will organise Zippy Traffic Safety awareness drive at traffic signals in Chennai for road and traffic safety awareness among two-wheeler riders.

YCSP continues to educate and influence parents and children about crucial road safety measures as Yamaha envisions safety for an family safe, seeing children as catalysts to usher change in the family. In 2014, Yamaha organized its YCSP activity at 706 schools with more than 242,000 students participating from 121 cities. In December 2014, Yamaha in India sold 44,602 units over 39,777 units sold in December 2013 equating to 125 sales growth.
