Recently surfaced photo proved top speed of Yamaha R25. It shows the quarter litre bike can do 154 kmph @ 11,000 rpm and 173 kmph @ 12,500 rpm. Still some rev scope is left; redline strikes at 14,000 rpm. Will Yamama R25 manage to clock anymore speed as it already exceeded peak power point at 12,000 rpm?
Facelifted Honda CBR 250R was launched in Indonesia a month before Yamaha R25’s, with good boost of power. New CBR 250R delivers 29 PS max. power @ 9,000 rpm and 23 Nm peak torque @ 7,500 rpm. Yamaha R25 is capable of 36 PS @ 12,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm @ 10,000 rpm. We don’t know top speed of new Honda CBR 250R yet, above data suggest it won’t get very close to baby M1.
New video has come to light, thanks to Ride Magazine, showing top speed of new Honda CBR 300R.
