Yamaha T7 Tenere Concept takes the EICMA by storm
The lightweight Yamaha T7 Tenere Concept being showcased at the ongoing 2016 EICMA Show. Powered by a 700cc parallel twin engine with 55 kW peak power and 58Nm of torque borrowed from the FZ-07 and Yamaha MT-07, Yamaha T7 Tenere Concept sports an aluminium fuel tank, carbon rally fairing and skid plate. It also gets a custom made Akropovic exhaust and four project LED headlight.
Yamaha T7 Tenere Concept sits on 21” front and 18” rear tyres and gets KYB suspension. It is being projected as a middleweight adventure tourer and gets high ground clearance carbon fibre fairing and weighs less than 180kg.
Yamaha has revealed that the company has been developing the Yamaha T7 Tenere Concept along with the company’s official rally team in France with inputs received from the R&D team in Italy and GK Design in Netherlands. No other technical details were revealed.
The bike is on display at the EICMA, seen in a stunning silver and navy blue color combination. The Yamaha T7 concept should go into production in 2018.
