ZF Services keen on aftermarket segment growth in India

ZF looks to tap into the Indian aftermarket segment, and offer innovative OE products and technical services for passenger cars, commercial vehicle and off highway segments. ZF’s new 21 acre plant in Chakan industrial park in Pune at an investment of nearly €20 million (Rs. 150 crore) highlights the company’s commitment to the Indian market.

The new plant has additional capacity to further expansion of ZF’s business in India, and strengthen its growth trajectory. Passenger car segment is a key focus, and ZF Services is committed to supplying the independent aftermarket with OE-quality products alongwith technical support. For high end passenger car segment, ZF Services has introduced products including clutches and shock absorbers from Sachs, and rubber-metal parts and steering components. For mass passenger car segments, offers spare parts including 74 new steering and suspension components from Lemforder.

With expected double digit growth, passenger car segment is important to ZF Services’ growth in India. In commercial vehicle segment, ZF offerss transmissions, torque rods and v-links to. ZF Services products are available for both domestic, and European trucks and buses. ZF Services has strengthened its distribution network (authorized parts dealers and services partners) in India to cater to passenger car and commercial vehicle segments. This ensures wider availability and support for aftermarket products and services.
