Tata Nano small cars join Zoomcar self drive fleet
Founded two years ago by David Back and Greg Moran, Zoomcar self drive fleet rental service has been on expansion mode. Having commenced operations with just 7 cars in Bangalore, over the years it has ventured into Pune and Gurgaon, and offers a 700 car fleet across three cities.
Tata Motors has supplied 50 Nano hatchbacks to the ever expanding Zoomcar self drive fleet. The addition of Nano hatchbacks enhance the company’s vision of offering customers with all the conveniences, mobility and freedom of city driving, while adding to the convenience of easy parking, which is a major problem in each of the three cities where Zoomcar self drive fleet are available.
A specially organised event marked the flagging off of these 50 Tata Nano small cars. Greg Morgan of Zoomcar and Nakul Gupta of Tata Motors flagged off the cars from Concorde Motors at Dairy Circle in Bengaluru.
The expanding Zoomcar self drive fleet includes Ford Figo, Ford Ecosport, Honda City, Honda Amaze, Mahindra Scorpio and XUV and the Tata Safari and Nano. Exclusive cars such as BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz A class and GLA are also a part of the company’s fleet and are offered to users on hourly, daily, weekly or on monthly basis.
