2016 Range Rover Evoque launch in November 2015, bookings open

Tata Motors owned, Land Rover is all set to launch the iconic Range Rover Evoque facelift in India next month. Though the company is yet to reveal launch date, they did confirm that bookings have now opened across their dealer network in India.

First launched in July 2011, Range Rover Evoque is manufactured at the company plant in Halewood UK and in Changshu, China and Pune, India. An instant hit the world over, Range Rover Evoque is often referred to as baby Range Rover.

Speaking about Evoque facelift, it is the first ever Jaguar Land Rover to feature full-LED adaptive headlamp technology. The exterior design has been further enhanced by new bumper, two new grille designs, and three new alloys wheel designs. On the inside, new Evoque gets new seats, new door casings, new infotainment system which is accessed via 8 inch touchscreen system, and the introduction of new colours and materials.

Under the hood, Range Rover Evoque facelift gets the new range of Ingenium diesel engines which make new Evoque the most fuel efficient Land Rover till date. Sadly, this new range of Ingenium diesel engines is not expected to be on offer in India.

The 2016 Range Rover Evoque has many class-defining features such as Hands-free tailgate function, Head Up Display, Surround Camera System, 17 Speakers, 825 Watts MeridianTM Surround Sound System, Rear Seat Entertainment among others.

In India, Land Rover is expected to continue with the current 2.2 liter four cylinder diesel engine. This engine generates 188 bhp and 420 Nm, which is transferred to all four wheels via an intelligent 9 speed automatic gearbox.

To be assembled locally, price of new Evoque is expected to be in the range of INR 50-57 lakh, ex-showroom. More details once the car is launched, until then, have a look at the images of Evoque facelift below.
