Until now, it was only offered as a non-ABS variant. But now, Benelli TNT 300 comes with dual channel and switchable ABS system. Benelli has now discontinued the non-ABS variant, and only the ABS variant is on offer.

Compared to the older non-ABS variant, the TNT 300 ABS variant is about INR 26,000 more expensive. Price of TNT300 ABS starts from INR 3.29 lakh, ex-showroom.

TNT 300 isn’t one with an outright sporty stance but does make the most of traditional yet modern curves for a distinct design language. Fitted with a 16 litre tank, a prominent red trellis frame furthers its design distinctiveness. 300cc, inline two-cylinder Benelli TNT 300 uses a water cooled 4-stroke 8-valve DOHC engine.

Max power is pegged at 38.26 bhp@11,500 rpm and max torque at 26.5 Nm @ 9000 rpm. The 185 kg (wet weight)/ 196 kg (kerb weight) entrant is available in white and orange. The 6 speed constant mesh transmission uses a chain drive. Petal discs are in use. Seat height stands at 795 mm.

Ground clerance is marked at 160 mm and will vary depending on tyre size ( Pirelli/MRF). Front tyre options are 120/70 ZR 17 58 W (P) and 110/70 ZR 17 54 S (M). Rear tyre measures at 160/60 ZR 17 69 W (P) and 150/60 ZR 17 66 S (M). Dimensions are as follows: Length 2130mm, width 800mm, and height 1120mm. The city ride uses an inverted forks telescopic front suspension, and hydraulic monoshock absorber rear suspension.

Benelli TNT 300 is fitted with hydraulic double disc front brakes. Front brake size (area) 7700 sq mm. The rear wheel is fitted with a hydraulic single disc brake. Rear brake size (area) 3278 sq. mm. Benelli TNT 300 is available in three colours: Ross (red), Verde (green) and Nero (black).

Benelli TNT 300 is being made available in India via the CKD route. Bikes will be assembled at the CKD plant of DSK MotoWheels. Assembly in India has encouraged competitive pricing. Benelli TNT 300 is the lowest cc offering in India from the Italian bike manufacturer at present, and will be a volume product.
