Longer and wider, the new Mini Clubman Concept at Geneva

2014 Geneva Motor Show opens its doors and the MINI Clubman Concept makes its official debut. Distinctly different from the current Cooper Clubman and Cooper lineup, the current model is notably 26cms longer and 17 cms wider and is fitted with four full doors unlike what is seen on board the Clubman 3 door feature.

Measuring 4223 mm in length, 1844 mm in width, and standing at a height of 1450 mm, the MINI Clubman Concept offers larger passenger space and extra floor space in boot. New MINI Clubman Concept features a hexagonal radiator grille and an iconic floating roof design while the model comes in with improved aerodynamics and sits on 19” aluminum wheels.

Mini Clubman Concept at Geneva (1)Interiors are exclusive in many respects. Comfortably seating upto 5 passengers, interiors are well appointed while the dashboard is distinctly more enhanced with classic round gauges, central mounted infotainment system features and new intelligent toggle switches which can be programmed as per driver’s preferences.

The new MINI also has AirCurtains. It is an aerodynamic feature that gives the wheel arches an aerodynamically optimised closure. These dynamically surround the lower part of the front section like two brackets. There is also AirBreather, which echoes the design theme of the AirCurtains in the front apron, cutting dynamically into the surrounding Black Band. This is the first MINI which features AirBreather.
