New spy shot of Maruti Suzuki SX4 S-Cross for India has emerged. This spy shot reveals that the Indian variant will get HID projector headlamps with integrated DRLs. Apart from this, you can also see the two slat chrome grille, fog light casing finished in matt titanium grey, and so is the front bumper’s underbody.
Though not official, it has been reported that Maruti SX4 S-Cross will be offered only with a diesel engine variant. This could be in the form of a 1.6-litre diesel engine offering 118PS power and 313 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
In Europe, the SX4 S-Cross is sold with a 1.6 liter petrol engine that offers 120 PS peak power and 156 Nm peak torque and a 1.6 liter MultiJet engine capable of 120 PS power and 320 Nm torque.

Interior design of new S Cross is same as the one found on the European variant.Added space in the rear passenger area was noted on the Maruti SX4 C-Cross diesel on test. The rear gets added comforts such as adjustable headrests while doors receive silver inserts and added fabric on arm rests to give a more premium appearance.
Maruti SX4 S-Cross measures 4.3 meters in length and was seen riding on JK tyres fitted on 16” alloy wheels which could also make its way into the production model. Once launched in early 2015, the Maruti SX4 S-Cross will compete with Mahindra Scorpio, Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano. Prices are slated to be in the INR 11-13 lakh bracket.
