Tata Bolt hatchback has been finally launched in Nepal. Available in both petrol and diesel engined variants, it will be sold in Nepal via the CBU route.
Tata Bolt with Revotron petrol 1.2T MPFi engine is priced from NPR 23.95 lakhs (INR 14.95 lakhs) while the diesel variant is priced from NPR 28.35 lakhs (INR 17.70 lakhs). Tata Bolt is presented in five exterior colors of Venetian Red, Pristine White, Platinum Silver, Sky Grey and Dune Beige in three trims of XE, XM and XT.
Boasting of enhanced interior space and comforts, Tata Motors Bolt is produced from the company plant in Pune. Built under the HorizoNext umbrella, which stands on three pillars of Design, Drivability and Connectivity; Bolt was first launched in India earlier this year (price range INR – 4.44 – 6.99 lakhs). Though the car showed a great promise, sales have continuously declined. Launching the car in Nepal will help Tata Motors generate more sales.

Abounding in safety features, the sporty hatchback receives 9th generation ABS with EBD from Bosch. The hatchback also receives improved braking with Corner Stability Control feature thus making the company sure that this fuel efficient car will be well received in Nepal.
Interiors of Tata BoltTata Bolt is powered by a Revotron 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine offering 90 PS power at 5,000 rpm and 140 Nm torque at 1,500 to 4,000 rpm. Its 1.3 liter Quadrijet diesel engine offers 75 PS power at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm torque at 1,750 to 3,000 rpm.
Tata Bolt also becomes the first hatchback in Nepal to offer multi-drive featureBoth engines are mated to 5 speed manual transmission while according to ARAI ratings fuel efficiency on the Bolt petrol stands at 17.57 kmpl and at 22.95 on the Bolt diesel. Tata Motors is offering the Bolt hatchback in Nepal at a 4 year or 75,000 km warranty whichever is earlier resulting in both reduced cost of ownership and better resale value.
