2015 Audi SQ5 TDI Plus goes on sale in Europe from October 2015. The 3.0 liter bi-tubro V6 TDI engine power output is increased to 340 hp and 700 Nm torque, an increase of 27 hp and 50 Nm as against the regular variant. Power is delivered to all four wheels via Quattro all wheel drive system.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 5.1 seconds while top speed now stands at 250 kmph. Speaking about fuel efficiency, it stands at 6.6 liters per 100 km (or 15.15 kmpl) while auto emissions are at 174g CO2/km. Audi also offers a petrol version of the SQ5 with a 3.0 TFSI V6 engine offering 354 hp and 470 Nm torque with acceleration to 100 kmph achieved in 5.3 seconds.
Launching in October, it will be for the first time that the Q5 will be seen with differential at the rear axle which alternates drive between the wheels. Wheels are seen in a glossy black with 21” cast aluminum and in Audi Sport five twin spoke design encased in 255/40 tyres.
Exterior visual updates include a black gloss package on its exterior mirror housing, door handles, diffuser and roof edge spoiler. Twin clasps are seen on the four exhaust tail pipes. Speaking about interiors, they are done up in diamond stitched Nappa leather seen on seats, steering wheel floor mats and door trims.
Audi SQ5 TDI plus will be priced at €67,700 (INR 50.35 lakhs or $75,581) in Germany.
