The luxury auto manufacturer ?has brought it’s new performance drive model range to Buddh International Circuit 2014 to coincide with its final BMW Experience tour, a weeklong driving extravaganza for owners and customers who have the opportunity to be driven in BMW M cars on a racetrack. BMW India is fully booked for the BIC season finale tour.

BMW India launches 2015 M3 and M4

BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe get power from a 3.0-litre, 6 cylinder, BMW M twin-turbo petrol engine which with max power pegged at 431 ps (317 Kw), and max torque at 550 Nm. M TwinPower Turbo tech boosts power increase, which is coupled with optional seven-speed M Dual Clutch Transmission. BMW EfficientDynamics ensures reduced fuel consumption and emissions through Intelligent Lightweight Construction, Automatic Start/Stop function, Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering, 50:50 Weight Distribution and other tech.

All-new BMW M3 sedan and BMW M4 coupe launch at BIC saw Sachin Tendulkar present at the unveiling alongwith Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India. For those only just getting to know M3, previous gen M3 was available as a sedan and coupe but in its new gen avatar is split as M3 sedan and M4 coupe keeping with BMW’s new nomenclature. You’re looking at 0-60mph (100kmph) in 4.1 seconds with top speed electronically limited to 250 kmph. BMW idrive with touch controller, Navigation professional with 22.35 cm colour display with 3D maps, BMW Head-Up Display with M-specific views, Park Distance Control (PDC) rear and front along with rear view camera are available as standard features.

M dual clutch transmission with drivelogic enables quick gear shift without traction loss. addle shifters on the steering wheel ensure easy gear shifting. Te exhaust system with twin tailpipes use a flap concept.The sound of BMW M is enhanced by electronically controlled flaps positioned before the rear silencer, which also minimises exhaust backpressure to improve efficiency. Safety is paramount and made effective through air bags, Active M Differential, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including M Dynamic mode, and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
