On a glance, no major difference compared to the US-spec 2015 Honda CR-V can be noticed in the facelift version for Europe.

Interior of new Euro-spec Honda CR-V is embellished with a newly shaped chrome-effect accent running across the dashboard. There is also a new sliding armrest between the front seats. Rest of design is vastly a carry over from the previous model.

Features-wise, Honda CR-V facelift gets a new app-driven infotainment system called Honda Connect, that is offered as standard across the variant lineup. Further, new 7-inch touch screen serves as a display for multimedia as well as driver / vehicle information and reverse / parking camera. The system gets Bluetooth connectivity through which Smartphones can utilise MirrorLink technology.

Under the hood lies the key highlight of 2015 Honda CR-V facelift. New 1.6 litre i-DTEC diesel engine which is a part of Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology series, produces 160 PS max power and 350 Nm peak torque. This engine is offered only in 4-Wheel-Drive (4WD) variants, mated either to a six-speed manual or new 9-speed automatic transmission.

Two Wheel Drive models of new Honda CR-V facelift equip a less powerful variant of the same engine, rated at 120 PS max power. This engine comes with manual transmission only. Petrol trims of new Honda CR-V will be driven by same 2.0 litre i-VTEC unit good for 155 PS max power. The gasoline motor is now Euro6 compliant and will be offered in 2WD as well as 4WD models.
