Interiors are now better revealed than ever.

2015 Tata Safari Storme is due for launch in a few weeks, before which much awaited changes in interiors are exposed clearly.

This is not the first time interiors of 2015 Tata Safari Storme’s interiors are caught on camera.

Most of the elements in the 2015 Safari Storme’s cabin are left untouched, only some minor detailing are revised. The faux wood trim across the length of the dashboard in outgoing model for example is replaced with a glossy silver accent. Steering wheel is replaced with Tata Motors’ new steering model with integrated audio controls debuted in Zest compact sedan.

Music system is now integrated into the centre console, which has Radio, CD, USB and AUX-in connectivities. This doesn’t seem to be a Harman product. The gear knob which was earlier believed to be new is now found to be just the same as in the 2012 Tata Safari Storme. No phenomenal change in other equipment like instrument cluster can be seen. Seat upholstery will obviously be new in 2015 Safari Storme facelift.

Exteriors of new Safari Storme are also limited to minimal change, 2015 model gets new honeycomb grille and VARICOR 400 badging on front fender.

This VARICOR 400 is nothing but the upgraded engine to power the 2015 Storme, with massive hike in peak torque rating. Same 2.2 litre diesel engine is now expected to produce 160 PS max power and 400 Nm peak torque, which is a 20 PS and 80 Nm bump from current spec. But transmission system is not expected to add a pair of gears, same 5-speed manual box would continue. Apart from this, the kerb weight will also be reduced; which will directly affect performance and fuel efficiency.

    Tata sucks.. Facelift should be a facelift, Not some minor changes that can be noticed with the help of some microscope. Time for Tata to do some revolutionary design.. look at Mahindra they come with more stylish design, Perfomance and quality. It took Tata for more than deacade to rollout a model like Bolt and Zest outside the Indica platform.. I bet even this model will not do well in the market.. The older Safari was atleast looking far better than this model..

      Exactly. Tata is yet to learn how to make a passenger car. I think they should concentrate on trunks only
