Update 28th May 2015: Below are the official prices of new Tata Safari Storme in India, as confirmed by a dealer. He also confirmed that delivery have already commenced.

Tata Safari Storme LX 4×2 – Rs. 10.41 Lakhs
Tata Safari Storme EX 4×2 – Rs. 11.61 Lakhs
Tata Safari Storme VX 4×2 – Rs. 13.02 Lakhs
Tata Safari Storme VX 4×4 – Rs. 14.34 Lakhs
21st April 2015: With launch scheduled possibly in a few weeks’ time, 2015 Tata Safari Storme price has been leaked and is said to start from Rs. 9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Just recently, product guide presentation slides of Tata Safari Storme facelift were leaked, revealing comprehensive details of the model year update. Now, marketing brochure of the SUV has been outed unofficially.
New Safari Storme receives the same 2.2 litre diesel engine, labelled VARICOR. The retuning has made the mill churn out 10 PS more power, to deliver 150 PS max power @ 4,000 rpm and same 320 Nm peak torque @ 1,700 – 2,700 rpm, mated to same 5-speed manual transmission. Another change in engine assembly is the new self adjusting clutch with 260 mm diameter fly wheel, which is said to have improved durability / life.
When it comes to features, Tata Motors has cut corners on low-end LX variant, to reduce the price somewhat substantially. But taking a look at what all have been compromised, it is hard to justify opting for the entry-level model. Some of which are lack of disc brake at rear wheels (which is not the case in outgoing model), obvious removal of ABS, and use of smaller wheels, for 235/75 – R15 tyres instead of 235/70 – R16.
