Three customized examples of the 2016 Honda CBR150R have been unveiled on the day of launch to highlight the motorcycle’s ability to adopt different avatars. The bikes which are named Racing Red Concept, Street Stylish Concept and Street Exclusive Concept have been detailed in an official video.
The Racing Red Concept sports slick tyres, custom racing exhaust with carbon fibre tip, aggressive ergonomics, a red-white livery with sponsor decals and several other upgrades. The motorcycle previews a possible one-make championship race bike based on the new CBR150R.
The Street Stylish Concept, as the name suggests, focuses on highlighting the motorcycle’s salient visual elements by using contrast colors. The motorcycle also gets a custom paint job, foot peg assemblies and exhaust in addition to new detailing for the crankcase. The Street Exclusive Concept is an edgier interpretation of what is already an edgy styling. The visor is shorter (with red tint), the headlamps are angrier and the color theme is exclusive. This concept too features custom exhaust system but features twin canisters.
All the three projects have a fully stripped down 2016 Honda CBR150R chassis as their base and boast of several custom components. Honda hasn’t revealed anything about the production prospects of these concepts.
