The fourth generation Renault Megane is all set to make public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month. But, before that, various details of the car have been revealed.
To be unveiled at a press conference held by Renault’s CEO, Carlos Ghosn, on September 15 and set to go on sale from the end of this year, 2016 Renault Megane increases in dimensions as compared to the outgoing model. It is 25mm lower, 47mm wider in the front and 39mm wider at the rear while it sits on a wheelbase which is longer by 28mm as compared to its earlier counterpart.
The new 2016 Renault Megane hatchback, in a new Iron Blue exterior paint, sports a V shaped grille flanked by new headlamps while a sportier bumper design, larger air intakes and several chrome accents for part of its exterior features. The Megane hatchback also receives slim LED tail lamps and a high waist line and sits on 18” alloy wheels.
At 25mm lower in front with track 47mm wider in front and 39mm wider at the rear compared to Mégane 3, New Mégane sits squarely on the road.Interiors of 2016 Renault Megane five door hatchback have not yet been officially detailed, while leaked images indicate a new interior with its central console sporting a large infotainment touchscreen display. The instrument cluster has a tachometer display in the center with a digital speedometer. Engine specifications could include 1.2 liter and 1.6 liter TCe turbocharged gasoline engine along with 1.5 liter and 1.6 liter dCi turbodiesel engines with all engines promising high level of fuel efficiency.
