Available in both both 6 speed manual and automatic transmission options, the Australia spec 2016 Toyota Fortuner will be powered by a 2.8 litre 1GD-FTV four-cylinder turbo diesel engine capable of 174 hp peak power and 450 Nm peak torque. Toyota claims combined 7.8 liters per 100 km (12.82 kmpl) for manual and 8.6 liters per 100 km (11.62 kmpl) for automatic transmission.
