Order books open for the 2018 Ford Aspire Facelift at company dealerships have already been opened. You can book yours by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. It comes in with improved styling and added features. Prices of petrol variant starts from Rs 5.55 lakhs, while that of the diesel variant starts from Rs 6.45 lakhs.
2018 Ford Aspire Facelift is seen with a new honeycomb grille with chrome surrounds, swept back headlamps and LED DRLs. It also receives a wide central airdam, rounded fog lamps and 15” multispoke alloy wheels while the rear end gets a new rear bumper design and refreshed tail lamps.
On the inside, the cabin gets styling cues borrowed from the Ford EcoSport and Freestyle. Done up in a color scheme of black and beige, the Aspire facelift interiors receivea a new dashboard touchscreen display, repositioned air condition vents and engine start stop button. The facelifted Ford Aspire will also get two USB sockets along with the 12V socket just in front near gear lever.
Engine specifications include a new 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder, Dragon Series petrol engine that also powers the Freestyle. This engine will make 96 PS power and 120 Nm torque. The 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder diesel engine offers 100 PS power and 215 Nm torque. Both above petrol and diesel engine options are mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. Automatic option is on offer only with offer. This is in the form of 1.5 liter petrol engine which delivers 110 PS and 136 Nm via 6 speed AT.
Compared to rivals Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze, the new Ford Aspire is priced cheaper. Price of Aspire starts from Rs 5.55 lakhs for petrol and Rs 6.45 lakhs for diesel. In comparison, Dzire petrol and diesel prices start from Rs 5.6 lakhs and 6.58 lakhs, while the same for Honda Amaze starts from Rs 5.8 lakhs and Rs 6.9 lakhs.
