With the stock of new 2019 Bajaj Dominar arrived at some of the dealers in Mumbai and Delhi, deliveries of the much awaited new Dominar have finally started. More powerful and feature-rich than before, updated Dominar is priced at Rs 1.73 lakh ex-sh. As per a price list shared by Mumbai dealer, which can be seen in the image below, on road price in Mumbai is Rs 2.18 lakh. This includes insurance, registration, handling charges, etc.
This makes the new Dominar about Rs 15-20k more expensive than the older model. Surprisingly, the older Dominar is also listed in the price list. It is not clear if the older Dominar is discontinued or will it be on sale along side the new Dominar. Old Dominar is being offered at huge discount Rs 13,000; bringing its effective on road price to Rs 1.97 lakh.

2019 Bajaj Dominar is powered by the same 373 cc single cylinder engine, which has been borrowed from KTM Duke 390. But unlike the old Dominar, which had the SOHC setup, the new Dominar gets DOHC setup, just like KTM 390. This has improved the refinement levels considerably. Vibrations are as good as gone, while the cooling is also much better than before.
In the front of new Dominar, you get a USD fork, unlike the regular telescopic forks seen on current Dominar. Rear suspension setup is same as before, so are the tyres. Alloys size is same, but design is slightly changed.
The seats are now much softer, providing better rider comfort. Instrument cluster gives more information to the rider. Rear view mirror stalks are changed, and look more stylish and sleek.
