A host of visual upgrades, latest features and new engine options are set to be seen on the 2019 Ford Figo Facelift set for launch tomorrow. Offered in petrol manual, petrol automatic and diesel manual options, the 2019 Ford Figo variants gets detailed in terms of exterior, interior, comfort and safety features.
2019 Ford Figo Ambiente gets exterior features such as a blacked out grille, wing mirrors and front fog lamp surrounds. It is also seen in body coloured front and rear bumpers, 14” steel wheels and rear fog lamps. Interiors boast of an all black colour scheme, tilt adjustable steering, day and night inside rear view mirrors and fabric seats. It also receives adjustable front seat headrests and a 12V power socket. Where its safety features are concerned, the Ford Figo Ambient trim sees dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, manual AC, speed sensing door locks, front power windows and an electric boot release.
Ford Figo Titanium sits on 14” alloy wheels and gets exteriors with body colored wing mirrors with integrated indicators, blacked out B Pillar, power folding and adjustable wing mirrors, a chrome grille and front fog lamp surrounds along with a rear defogger. Its interiors get height adjustable driver seat, adjustable rear headrests, a 7” touchscreen infotainment system with AUX, USB and Bluetooth and four speakers. Safety features include traction control, hill start assist, navigation, steering mounted controls and reverse camera along with keyless entry and push button start. Automatic climate control, all four power windows and a tachometer are also among its safety features.
Ford Figo Titanium Blu is seen in absolute black front grille surrounds, grille mesh and ORVMs along with a dual tone contrasting roof and 15” black alloy wheels. It also sports automatic headlamps and wipers and automatic day/night rear view mirror. Interiors see all the features offered on the other two trims along with a leather wrapped steering wheel while the Titanium Blu gets dual front, side and curtain airbags (6) among its safety features.
Engine specifications on the 2019 Ford Figo Facelift consists of a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder Dragon series petrol engine (96 PS / 120 Nm / 20.4 kmpl), a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder petrol engine (123 PS / 150 Nm / 16.3 kmpl) and a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder diesel engine (100 PS / 215 Nm / 25.5 kmpl). The 1.2 liter petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engines will get mated to a 5 speed manual transmission while the 1.5 liter petrol comes in with a 6 speed automatic transmission on the Titanium variant. Expect launch price to be in the range of Rs 5-8 lakhs, ex-sh.
2019 Ford Figo Colour options on offer are Red, Silver, Blue, Black, Grey, Gold and White. With Titanium Blu, only 3 of them are on offer, with dual tone finish – White, Silver and Grey.
