In terms of engine specifications, the Hero XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T share the same 200cc engine which also powers the Xtreme 200R. This is an oil cooled, single cylinder engine offering 18 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and 17 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm mated to a 5 speed gearbox. Braking is via single petal disc brakes at both ends. Suspension is through 37mm telescopic in front and adjustable monoshock at the rear. Single channel ABS is offered as standard along with other features such as a digital speedometer, LED head and tail lamps.

No official word on pricing as on date, but expect Hero XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T in a price range of Rs.1-1.1 lakh in India. There are not really any rivals for the purpose Xpulse 200 is on offer.
