It gets a semi digital instrument cluster and fresh upholstery on door panels, ambient lighting, 12 way adjustable driver seat with two position memory and 4 way power lumbar support, arm rests and central tunnel.
In terms of safety, apart from airbags and ABS, the 2019 Honda Accord gets a head up display, 360 degree camera, parking sensors at the front and rear, cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, wireless phone charging and Honda Smart Parking Assist System. It is also offered in hybrid format, powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine which is combined with electric motors offering total output of 215 hp and 315 Nm (same as Accord Hybrid in India).
In India, the 9th gen Honda Accord is on sale. It was launched in 2016. But considering the car’s poor performance in sales (0 units sold in 2018), updated Accord might not be launched in India. Accord Hybrid is priced in India at a price of Rs 45 lakhs. It is sold as CBU.
