2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 launched in India on the same day as international launch

2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 comes in two colors of black and green with new decals and graphics.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000 has been officially launched in India. This liter class sports motorcycle is identical to its earlier model with same price and same engine specifications, but will be seen with some new decals and graphics.

The Ninja 1000 will come into the country via the semi knocked down route and will be assembled at the company plant in Chakan near Pune. Alongside the launch of 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 in India, it also made its entry into global markets.

Noted for its touring abilities, the new Ninja 1000 sits on alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres, and like its earlier counterpart measures 2,100mm in length, 790mm in width and 1,185mm in height.

It has wheelbase of 1,440mm and ground clearance at 130mm while kerb weight is at 239 kgs. Apart from minor graphics the Ninja 1000 also gets low profile dual LED headlamps with high and low beam, chin spoilers and Assist and Slipper Clutch. It also gets Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) and Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System (KIBS).

Kawasaki Ninja 1000 gets its power from the same 1,043cc, inline, four engine offering 141.9 PS peak power at 10,000 rpm and 111 Nm torque at 7,300 rpm but the engine ECU has been re-tuned for better ergonomics as compared to the outgoing model.
