2020 Audi Q7 facelift with a range of interior updates

2020 Audi Q7 comes with updates to the exterior. And multiple changes in the interior. The Audi Q7 is built on the new Q SUV family design scope. As a result there’s updates on dynamics, comfort, and spaciousness. 2020 Audi Q7 will launch in Europe in mid-September.

Audi Q7 front grille design is a large octagon-shaped single-frame grille with six upright slats. And it looks biggish. Design updates are seen on the two-part side air inlets, and sill area. High ground clearance, and its off-road capabilities are part of the updates. On the exterior, headlights are available with the option of HD Matrix LED tech with Audi laser light.

2020 Audi Q7 restyled rear features a chrome strip, and flat rear lights. Audi Q7 will also come with a S line exterior, all-wheel steering, and electromechanical active roll stabilization. But these are on offer as an option. S line exterior comes with firmer adaptive air suspension sport, and because of this, ride height by 15 mm (0.6 in).

2020 Audi Q7’s adjustable stabilisers reduce body roll on uneven terrain. Variable ground clearance and standard quattro drive also help in off-roading. With 2020 Audi Q7 rear wheels turning by up to 5 degrees in the opposite direction at low speed, and on highways they steer slightly in the same direction because of which agility and stability are optimised. Adaptive air suspension comes as standard. As a result, freeway riding is comfy.

Offroad mode can be selected via Audi drive select dynamic handling system seven profiles. 2020 Audi Q7 is mated to an 8-speed tiptronic, and permanent all wheel drive. Engines on offer include two diesel powertrains. Later, the company will introduce a diesel engine, and a plug-in hybrid model to complete the range.

48 volt mild hybrid tech is designed for engine efficiency to reduce fuel consumption by up to 0.7 litres per 100 kms.A belt alternator starter (BAS) powers the 48-volt main electrical system with a compact lithium-ion battery that stores energy. When braking, BAS recovers 8 kW of power and feeds it back into the battery.

2020 Audi Q7 is now longer by 11 mm (0.4 in) to 5,063 mm (16.6 ft) long. Width is pegged at 1,970 mm (6.5 ft), and height at 1,741 mm (5.7 ft) (including roof aerial).
